Cailyn Green – SUNY Empire State College
The Impact of Employment on Treatment Completion Rates with DWI Offenders
Cailyn Green, MS, Ph.D., CASAC is the Assistant Professor of Addiction Studies at the State University of New York, Empire State College. She has been a part of the SUNY academic team since 2014.

She earned her BA degree in psychology from Wester New England University, her MS degree in forensic mental health from Sage Graduate School and her Ph.D. in criminal justice with a specialization in addiction science from Walden University. Dr. Green is also a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor in New York State. Dr. Greens area of expertise is supporting clinicians who work in the addiction field to best serve their clients. She spent her hands on clinical time working directly with the recently incarcerated population.

Lingyao Yuan – Iowa State University

LINGYAO (IVY) YUAN is an Assistant Professor of the Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics at the Debbie and Jerry Ivy College of Business at Iowa State University. Her research interest includes augmented intelligence and digital human, the impact of non-cognition behavior and decision-making, especially emotion, in computer-mediated communication, decision-making, and collaboration. She has conducted research in the fields of electronic commerce and social media. She has been published in the Harvard Business Review, Journal of Management Information Systems, Journal of the Association for Information Systems, Decision Sciences, as well as conferences including International Conference on Information Systems, Annual Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences, and INFOMRS Annual Meeting. She received her PhD degree from Indiana University in 2015.

Dr. Gregory Kaliss is an Assistant Professor of History at York College of Pennsylvania and author of the forthcoming book Beyond the Black Power Salute: Athlete Activism in an Era of Change (gkaliss@ycp.edu). He lives in Lancaster, Pennsylvania with his wife, daughter, and two cats.

Lily Zhu – Washington State University
How to Unlock Your Creativity
Dr. Lily Zhu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management, Information Systems, and Entrepreneurship at Washington State University’s Carson College of Business. She received her Ph.D. in Organization and Management from the Paul Merage School of Business, University of California, Irvine. Broadly speaking, Dr. Zhu’s research examines the implications of people’s emotional experiences and how they can manage their emotions in ways that improve performance and wellbeing. Her first stream of research examines the role of emotions and emotion management in entrepreneurship and creativity. Her second stream of research examines how emotions shape the way individual employees and corporate executives make decisions. Her research won the Best Paper Award and the Distinguished Paper Award from the Academy of Management annual meetings.

Jeffrey Wood – University of Missouri
Changes in Forest Behavior after Crossing a Drought Threshold
I’m an Assistant Professor in the School of Natural Resources at the University of Missouri. My research is broadly aimed at improving scientific understanding and prediction of how ecosystems interact with weather and climate. A major area of recent interest is focused on how forest behavior is influenced by drought. I use a variety of techniques to measure the “breathing” and the “pulse” of trees and the whole forest. My research is highly collaborative and involves scientists from different fields of study.

In a recent study, I worked with collaborators from Oak Ridge National Laboratory, CalTech and UCLA on research where we discovered what we called the “ecosystem wilting point”, a threshold defining changes in whole-forest behavior under drought.
