Michael White, Pharm.D., FCP, FCCP, FASHP has ~500 publications resulting in 18288 citations with an H-index of 70; placing him within an elite group of researchers. Dr. White’s research interests are in the areas of comparative effectiveness and preventing adverse events from drugs, devices, dietary supplements, and illicit substances. His work has been published in JAMA, Lancet, Annals of Internal Medicine and Circulation (among others) with research coverage by NBC News, Good Morning America, BBC, CNN, NY Times, Washington Post, LA Times, Boston Globe, PBSNewsHour, WNPR Morning Edition, Prevention Magazine, and hundreds of other (inter)national media outlets. He has received the American College of Clinical Pharmacist Young Investigator Award, American Society of Health-System Pharmacists Award for Sustained Contributions to the Literature and the Drug Therapy Research Award, and the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy Lyman Award and the Weaver Award.

Alexis Redding is a developmental psychologist whose work focuses on the college experience and what students need to thrive. She is the Faculty Co-Chair of the Higher Education Concentration at the Harvard Graduate School of Education where she also teaches courses in student development, student affairs, and research methods for higher education. In 2024, she also became Faculty Chair of a new Professional Education course at HGSE: Mental Health in Higher Education: A Theory-to-Practice Approach for Student Well-Being.

Bruce Johnson – Centre College

Bruce K. Johnson is the James Graham Brown Professor of Economics at Centre College, where he has taught since 1987. He became interested in sports economics when he developed a baseball salary model as a teaching example for his econometrics class. It led eventually to a chapter in a Brookings Institution volume on the economics of baseball in 1992.

Julia Khrebtan Horhager – Colorado State University
The Paradox of Cultural Othering
Julia Khrebtan-Hörhager is an Associate Professor of Communication at Colorado State University and a Director of Education Abroad programs in Europe. She is a holder of three International Communication Association Top Paper Awards, CSU College of Liberal Arts Best Teacher Award, and four Capstone Awards. Her research interests are in intercultural and international communication, European studies, global conflict, international cinematography, Othering, and critical media studies. She is the author of two books, Communicating the Other across Cultures and Migrant World Making, and has published numerous articles and book chapters in edited volumes. Julia’s non-academic experiences include serving as a peace corps liaison in Ukraine, a creative director at an international children’s center in Crimea, an interpreter for a technology company in Germany, a founding partner of a consulting group, and a program director of ACT International Human Rights Film Festival in the USA. Dr. Khrebtan-Hörhager is fluent in seven languages and is often called “a cultural mentor” and “an intercultural ambassador” by her colleagues and students.
