Cailyn Green – SUNY Empire
Treating Neurodivergent Clients in Addiction
Cailyn Green, MS, Ph.D., CASAC is the Assistant Professor of Addiction Studies at SUNY Empire State University. She has been a part of the SUNY academic team since 2014. She earned her BA degree in psychology from Wester New England University, her MS degree in forensic mental health from Sage Graduate School and her Ph.D. in criminal justice with a specialization in addiction science from Walden University. Dr. Green is also a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor in New York State. Dr. Greens area of expertise is supporting clinicians who work in the addiction field to best serve their clients. She spent her hands-on clinical time working directly with the recently incarcerated population.

Osteoporosis Prevention
Canadian, moved to US for graduate study at Stony Brook University (focus on human anatomy and comparative primate biomechanics). Post-doc at Harvard in Human Evolutionary Biology. 18 years as faculty at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where I taught anatomy in medical schools and Biological Anthropology courses and developed collaborative and interdisciplinary research with mechanical engineers, kinesiologists and psychologists.

Ahyeon Koh – Binghamton University
Health Information Collected Through Sweat
Dr. Koh is currently an associate professor at the Binghamton University Thomas J. Watson College of Engineering and Applied Science.

Her research focuses on overcoming obstacles of conventional biosensors. Her research group is seeking the solution to develop chemically and mechanically biocompatible electrochemical biosensors and intimately bio-integrated sensing systems. Her expertise includes electrochemical biosensors, flexible and stretchable sensors, biocompatible and sustainable sensors and materials, analytical devices for biomedical applications. She is NSF CAREER award recipient in 2023 and publishs high impact peer-reviewed research articles supported by NSF, AFRL, University, and industries.

Christina Yu – Cornell University
Taming Network Interference in the Digital Age
Christina Lee Yu is an assistant professor at Cornell University in the School of Operations Research and Information Engineering. Prior to Cornell, she was a postdoc at Microsoft Research New England. She received her Ph.D. in electrical engineering and computer science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and B.S. in computer science from the California Institute of Technology. A recipient of the 2021 Intel Rising Stars Award and a JPMorgan Faculty Research Award Yu’s research interests include algorithm design and analysis, high dimensional statistics, inference over networks, sequential decision making under uncertainty, online learning, and network causal inference.

Kideok Jin – Albany College of Pharmacy
Stopping the Cancer Crosstalk
Dr. Kideok Jin is an associate professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Albany, New York.

Dr. Jin’s breast cancer expertise at multiscale is demonstrated by his numerous presentations in international conferences, more than 28 papers in peer-reviewed journals, and a patent on the treatment of tamoxifen resistant breast cancer.

Dr. Jin was awarded a Scholarship of Discovery Grant Award, Rudolph and Dorothy Blythe Research Award, and NIH R15 grants from NCI.

He received his Ph.D. in Cell and Developmental Biology from SUNY Upstate Medical University and was a post-doctoral fellow at the Department of Oncology/Breast cancer, Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center, Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD.
